mnr-logo-100x20pixA number of Iowa cities, including Des Moines, might soon enter the home-flipping business on the federal government’s dime.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development granted Iowa $21 million last fall under the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, which was designed to halt the blight and decline in property values that often afflict foreclosure-gripped neighborhoods.
